Mark tries to get Tiffany alone at Ben's house, but she brings Sean with her. Sean and Mark fight and Sean falls and hits his head.

February 5, 1997

Meg and Ben are arrested for helping Annie escape, but Ricardo has to let them go because he has no proof.

When Sean is taken to the hospital for his head injury, Gregory accuses him of trying to embarrass him.

Michael calls a buddy, JoJo, to help him find a safe place for Jaleen and RaShonda to hide, not knowing that JoJo is Jamahl Muhammad, the very man that RaShonda wants to hide from.

February 6, 1997

Olivia loses her driver's license due to a drunk driving charge, and Tim is hired as Olivia's chauffeur.

February 7, 1997

Bette meets Cole for the first time.

We find out that JoJo is working for Gregory.

Michael's Past
Casey & Rae

Casey's curiosity, and jealousy, is piqued when Rae questions him about Michael's past.
Rae advises Vanessa to continue to trust Michael.
Vanessa accuses Michael of colluding with JoJo to set her up, because JoJo is Jamahl Muhammad.
Casey accuses Rae of having an interest in Michael.
Rae tells him that there never was anything between her and Casey, and there never will be.
Michael insists that JoJo isn't the man who has been trying to kill Vanessa and says that it will be a pleasure proving her wrong.

Sean, overcome by guilt at reports of Annie's death, picks a fight with Mark.
Later, he goes to the police to make a new statement.
In Ricardo's absence, Sean tells Eddie that he didn't see Annie at all, but that he doesn't know the woman he did see, who calls Gregory about it.
Gregory tells Eddie to "lose" Sean's statement, but Eddie says that he's in charge of the investigation now and cannot afford to lose the statement.

Annie tells Meg that Ben had known all along that she was alive.
When Ben returns, Meg is furious with him, but he explains, and Annie admits, that he didn't know that Annie was still alive until recently.
Annie tells Meg that letting Ben know that she's "Dorothy" would reopen his old wounds from Maria's death, so Meg says that she'll win Ben's heart as Meg, then.

Annie has flashes of being in her father's hotel room with blood on her hands.

Annie's "Death"	Annie is nearly caught by Eddie, but she gasses him and escapes. Ben mentions Maria to Meg for the first time when Annie leaves a coded message that she'll meet him in the weight room at the gym where she and Maria used to work out. Ben and Meg send Casey as a decoy to lure the police away. After the police are gone, Ben leaves for the gym to meet Annie. Annie gets out of the hospital by hiding in Al's coffin.
	February 6, 1997

Annie's "Death"	Ben reaches the crematorium, but Al's coffin has already been cremated by the time he arrives.
	February 11, 1997
Ben & Meg	Meg feels sorrow for Ben's loss when she discovers that he's a widower.
Annie's "Death"	Ricardo resigns from the police force due to feelings of guilt related to Annie's apparent death. In his grief over Annie's apparent death, Ben tries to drown himself in the ocean, but Meg stops him.
Del's Murder	Assuming that Annie was the killer, the D.A. closes the investigation of Del's murder.
	We find out that JoJo is working for Gregory.

Annie's "Death"	Annie watches her own memorial service, and is touched by Ben's speech.

Caitlin & Cole	Gregory finds out that Cole is a jewel thief and he forbids Caitlin to see him again.
Del's Murder	Olivia, who believes that Annie stole the Deschanel jewels from Del, tells Bette to return them to Olivia. Bette and Olivia search Annie's house for the jewels, to no avail.
	February 14, 1997
Annie's "Death"	Annie tells Ben that she's still alive. A worker at the crematorium rescued her and she bribed the worker to keep quiet.
Meg & Ben	Mark tells Meg that Ben is "SB." When she goes to tell him that she's "Dorothy," she sees another woman (Annie) and thinks that Ben has been intimate with the other woman.
Ricardo & Paula	Ricardo proposes to Paula.
	February 17, 1997
	Valentine's Day Masquerade Ball. Annie and Gabi attend, unbeknownst to those they are stalking (Ben/Meg and Paula/Ricardo).
Ricardo & Paula	Paula accepts Ricardo's proposal.
Caitlin & Cole	Gregory tells Tim to keep tabs on Caitlin.

	Annie sends Meg an e-mail from Ben's computer telling her to go back to Kansas. Meg wants to speak to Ben for herself, and goes to Ben's house, where she discovers that Annie's still alive.
Paula's Abduction	Eddie takes one of the Deschanel jewels to a jeweler to get it appraised. Later, he sees Paula interviewing the same jeweler about diamonds for her engagement ring, but Eddie thinks that Paula has figured out that he has the Deschanel jewels.
Ricardo/Paula/Gabi	Ricardo meets Gabi at the Java Web and flirts with her. Later, he suggests to Paula that they elope.
	February 21, 1997
Paula's Abduction	The Night Paula Was AbductedTM. Eddie breaks into Ricardo's apartment and grabs Paula from behind, chloroforming her.
Ricardo/Paula/Gabi	Ricardo convinces Paula to elope, then leaves to make travel arrangements, telling Paula he'd be back in two hours. Ricardo runs into Gabi at the Deep, and Gabi taunts him with what he'll be giving up if he marries Paula. While Eddie is kidnapping Paula, Ricardo smooches with Gabi.
Meg & Ben	Annie tells Meg that Ben had known all along that she was alive. Caitlin/Cole/Olivia/Gregory	Cole gives in to Gregory's blackmail and breaks up with Caitlin. Caitlin returns home and cries on her father's shoulder. When she goes down to the beach to be alone, Gregory sends Tim after her. Tim catches up to Caitlin in the grotto, and she tells him how Cole broke her heart. After Tim and Caitlin leave the grotto, Olivia arrives, champagne bottle in hand, commenting that it looks just like she remembered it. While Olivia longs for some "Deschanel magic," Cole turns up.
	February 24, 1997
Paula's Abduction	When Paula isn't there when Ricardo returns home, he thinks that Paula has changed her mind about eloping. Later, Eddie forces Paula to leave a message on Ricardo's answering machine telling him that she's gone away for a few days to think about their relationship.
Caitlin/Cole/Olivia/Gregory	Olivia and Cole are intimate.
Del's Murder	Concerned that Gregory will figure out that they're trying to prove Annie's innocence, Ben and Meg pretend to be romantically involved.
	February 25, 1997
Del's Murder	Ben decides that he doesn't believe Gregory's alibi for the night Del was murdered.
Caitlin/Cole/Olivia/Gregory	When Olivia runs into Cole at Elaine's Waffle Shop, Cole pretends that he doesn't know her.

Paula's Abduction	Eddie discovers that Paula has no idea that he stole the Deschanel jewels.
	Sean invites Tiffany to his family's cocktail party.
	February 27, 1997
Meg & Ben	Annie becomes jealous when she sees Ben and Meg pretending to be lovers at Gregory and Olivia's cocktail party.
Caitlin/Cole/Olivia/Gregory	Cole is caught by Olivia while searching Gregory and Olivia's bedroom for the Deschanel jewels.
Paula's Abduction	Eddie brings Ralph Myers in to keep an eye on Paula. Ralph went to prison because Paula had arrested him for speeding and they discovered that he was a serial rapist and killer when they checked his records.
	February 28, 1997
Paula's Abduction	Ricardo gets information on Ralph Myers, and finds out that Ralph always tattoos a heart on his victims. Paula tries to escape, but Ralph catches her and gives her an injection with a hypodermic needle. Eddie watches the entire thing on closed circuit television, amused. Ricardo wonders how Ralph would have known to kidnap Paula at his apartment. Ralph tattoos his trademark heart on Paula's chest. Based on where Paula made her phone call from, Ricardo decides that Paula must be either at the refinery or the army barracks. When Ricardo decides to search the army barracks, Eddie realizes that he has to get there first. Eddie and Ricardo arrive at the barracks, but Ralph has taken Paula and left.
Del's Murder	Annie tells Ben that she thinks she might have killed Del. While looking through the lifeguard lost and found for an abandoned coat for herself, Meg finds a blood-stained black cloak identical to cloaks owned by Bette, Elaine and Olivia. Despite the detail of Annie's recollection of washing the blood off her hands, Ben insists that until she can actually remember the shooting, then he won't believe it was anything but a dream. When Meg finds a receipt with Annie's name on it in the pocket of the cloak, she takes the cloak to Ben's house and demands an explanation from Annie. Meg is stunned when Annie says that she killed Del.
Caitlin/Cole/Olivia/Gregory	Cole notices Olivia's necklace. In an effort to get his hands on the necklace, he seduces Olivia again. They are nearly caught by Caitlin.
